We believe that by meeting one of the most basic of needs, the need for food, we are able to display Christ's love in a tangible way to those in need.
In this modern age, there are still many people who find themselves in need and without assistance. Many do not even have the ability to provide food for their families. |
![]() ![]() | By the grace of God, and through the giving hearts of His people, we are able to meet this need. By doing so, not only do we meet their material needs, but we also position ourselves to meet their spiritual needs as well. |
| "For I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took me in . . . Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me." Matthew 25:35, 40b (NKJV) | |

| We are committed to sharing Christ's love and compassion to those who are hurting – the grieving, the sick, the shut-in, and those in the hospital or in nursing homes. | |
| Hospital Visits
| A hospital stay can be a very lonely time. We visit church & family members in the hospital. Sometimes we take cards, balloons or flowers, but sometimes a warm smile and a friendly face may be all that is needed to brighten a day, or lighten a load. |
| Home Visits
| The same is true for those who are stuck at home with an illness and those who find themselves "shut-in" due to deteriorating health issues. |
| Bereavement
| The loss of a loved one can be an extremely difficult time. We let families know that God loves them and they are not forgotten. We do so by preparing meals, delivering a fruit basket, sending cards or whatever might be needed. |

| We are devoted to providing spiritual freedom for those addressing this local body of believers, especially the Pastor and the teaching of the Word of God. It is our desire, by the power of prayer, to ensure a freedom of worship that draws men and women to Jesus Christ. Also, we are committed to showing the love of Christ by 'linking' those in need to the power and saving grace of Jesus Christ. | |
| Prayer Room
|
The prayer room ministry consists of a group of men and women dedicated to spending time in prayer during the Sunday AM services. Teams of two meet in the prayer room each Sunday morning. These men and women pray for a spirit of freedom in the worship and for the Pastor and others teaching and preaching the Word of God. |
| The Prayer Chain
|
The prayer chain is made up of men and women connected via telephone, who 'link' together to create a "living chain" of prayer warriors devoted to interceding on behalf of those in need. |
| "But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you." Matthew 6:6 (NLT) | |

| The praise team serves God by using the gifts He has given us in order to touch the hearts of His people. God allows us to work alongside Him as He works in the lives of those in attendance. | |

| The clothing ministry, "Tabitha's closet", serves God by providing clothing for those in need in our church and our community. As we strive to meet their physical needs, we also hope to meet their spiritual needs with the message of salvation. |
