Parsons Baptist Church began on October 2, 1960 and we have served in this
community for over 48 years. During this time we have shown our concern for the
spiritual and physical needs of the community as evidenced by the following
values:
A heart for children and youth
A strategy for outreach & missions
A commitment to the biblical integrity and leadership of God's Word
A desire to provide spiritual growth and develop spiritual maturity in the
lives of those who have called themselves disciples of Christ
A determination to be faithful as evidenced by perseverance and hard work
A feeling of mutual unity and togetherness based on deep relationships
Our logo,
"Pointing the Way to the Cross",
was introduced in 2002.
We believe that this captures and reflects the essential scriptural premise for
making disciples.
It determines the very existence of any New Testament Church.
